Travel Update



Effective Sunday, November 1, visitors traveling to The Bahamas will no longer be required to quarantine or vacation in place for fourteen (14) days upon arrival.


Effective Sunday, November 1, all incoming visitors, returning citizens and residents, must show proof of a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test, taken no more than seven (7) days (currently 5 days) prior to the date of arrival. All tests must be uploaded when applying for a Bahamas Health Visa.


All travelers must apply for a Bahamas Health Visa at by selecting the International option and completing all required fields.

COVID-19 Testing Requirements



Effective Sunday, November 1, all visitors and returning Bahamians and residents will require a negative RT-PCR COVID-19 test result from an accredited lab, taken no more than seven (7) days (currently 5 days) before the date of travel, and an approved Health Visa to enter the country. Complete a Travel Health Card application before traveling to The Bahamas.

Travelers are required to upload a negative RT PCR COVID 19 Test. Failing to upload a negative RT PCR COVID 19 Test will result in an automatic denial of entry. Currently, The Bahamas currently DOES NOT accept Rapid Antigen, Antibody (IgG/IgM), or Sa test types.

Social Distancing

We practice social distancing in all our public areas and require face masks to be worn in all public areas of the hotel and on the elevators.

Food & Beverage

Current regulations allow for outdoor dining only.  As a result all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) are served on the outside terrace of the Main Dining Room only. Our daily menu features a variety of dishes from our a la carte restaurants.
Bar service is limited.

Hotel Beaches Open

A beach immediately connected to a hotel shall be open to guests of that hotel only


For the health, safety and well-being of our customers, associates and communities, we will refrain from providing daily housekeeping service and will restrict our team members from accessing your room during your stay.

Travel Requirements


All travelers to The Bahamas must first obtain a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR (swab) test taken no more than five (5) days prior to the date of arrival and must complete an individual Bahamas Travel Health Visa.

All passengers entering the U.S. are required to present a negative COVID-19 test, taken within three (3) calendar days of departure. On-site testing is now available at Breezes Bahamas.

Travel Health Card

You will be required to complete and submit an application for a Travel Health Card prior to your travel to The Bahamas.

The cost of the Travel Health Visa is dependent on the length of stay and is subject to change.

• $40 per person for a 4-night, five-day stay
• $60 per person for more than a four-night stay.
• Children 10 years and under are free.
• The fee includes mandatory health insurance.

Please print copies of the following for each traveler:

• Negative COVID-19 test results.
• Approved travel health visa with QR code visible.
• Receipt for payment of the Travel Health Visa.

COVID-19 testing is now available at Breezes Bahamas. Guests of the hotel can inquire and schedule an appointment for testing at the front desk. Services provided by Tropics Medical. $35 per test.

While in The Bahamas
Visitors staying longer than four (4) nights must take the Bahamas government-mandated Rapid Antigen Test on day five (5) of their stay.

This test can be taken at Breezes Bahamas at no additional cost. Services provided by Tropics Medical at Breezes Bahamas. See a front desk agent to make an appointment.

Departing Testing Requirements

Departing Guests
Visitors staying less than four (4) nights or longer than seven (7) nights and are returning to the United States must obtain a negative COVID-19 test in order to return to the United States.

This test is not covered by your Health Visa. The cost for this test is $35 per person.

CDC Travel Requirements for Re-entry to the United States
Effective January 26, 2021, U.S. citizens and international travelers ages two (2) years and older returning to the United States are required to present a negative Rapid Antigen or COVID-19 RT-PCR test.

The negative COVID-19 test must be taken within three (3) days (72 hours) of departure and presented pre-departure at the airport. Airlines must deny passenger’s boarding if they do not provide a negative COVID-19 test result or show proof of a recent positive viral test.

Visitors returning to the United States may use the Day 5 Bahamas government-mandated Rapid Antigen negative test result to re-enter the U.S. as long as their departure date is on the 6th, 7th or 8th day (7 nights or less) of their stay and test results are negative.

We've stepped up routine cleaning, paying close attention to high-touch surfaces in common areas. Guest rooms are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each checkout.

Digital restaurant menus and other resort guides and materials are easily accessible from your mobile phone with scannable QR codes.
